Dr. Nardos K. Belayneh, MD is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine.
She received her medical degree from Gondar College of Medical Sciences in Ethiopia. Dr. Belayneh practiced as a clinician in a 150 bed hospital in Southern Ethiopia and also completed a 4 year radiology residency during her time there.
Upon her relocation to the United States, she spent 2 years as a research assistant at John Hopkins Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Belayneh then completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and also served as an internist in an outpatient clinic for one year after her residency.
She then completed her Fellowship in Nephrology at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia and was named Chief Nephrology Fellow during her time there. She continued serving Augusta University as an attending and Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Section of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplantation before joining our practice in 2017.
